Where did they get the blond hair from?
I get asked that question a lot and I often quickly say that my husband is blond but sometimes I go into the fact that I did have blond hair. Here is proof, along with a bit if the curls showing. I am the one with the red outfit. The oldest is my sister, middle is a friend.

Our Rainy Morning
A little tidbit about the oldest kiddo. She has an unnatural obsession with umbrellas. I got Audrey an elmo umbrella at a consignment sale for $1. Celia knew that on the first rainy day Audrey could get the umbrella. Celia basically bounced out of her bed, got dressed and started harassing me. Can I show her? Can she have it? Mommy it's really raining. We need it. Can I get it now? By the time it was time to leave she was pratically shaking with anticipation. Audrey liked it but I not sure she shares Celia's enthusiasm for umbrellas!

Just pictures
Yes she is asleep and yes that is the top of the stairs.
Although this is at the beach, everyday after school they so some form of this. Today it involved Audrey stripping off her pants because they got in the way. They were big and kept sliding down. Evidently not desirable for lying on your sister or wrestling. I guess it is a warped way of saying they missed each other.

The pictures on my phone
A pretzel trip into town the Tues before school started. Audrey double dipping like crazy and Celia getting annoyed. Even though she does it too! This is my ultimate sacrifice as since I was pregnant with Audrey my stomach no longer tolerates my favorite food in quantities larger then 2 bites. Celia is quick to remind me if I break off to large of a piece!
At Pizzera Uno the kids can make their own pizza. They give them a chefs hat and everything. They do not put the adult order in until the pizzas are made so everything comes out together. It was fun!
This is more like my recent photos, this one is excitement over finding matching paint so I don't have to repaint the bathroom. It is not that yellow, it is the picture.
If you had seen the before... I sent this to Pete so he could be proud. Getting our house ready for sale is making me luny.
I leave you with this. She is sound asleep. I ignored the whines and drama and refused to go up for the 89th time. Since then things have been better. Giving up a nap has been hard for this kiddo, put her to bed too late and she gets a second wind. So we have started bedtime earlier and it has made a difference. Getting her in bed by 7:30 is hard!

Let the festivities begin
Tomorrow my baby turns 7. The age feels no more shocking to me then 6, honestly.
So we had Celia's family party on Saturday.
She requested a frozen cake.
Then she was okay with an olaf cake.
This is the olaf I came up with, I thought I did a decent job.
Then I tried my hand with fondant. I used fondarific.
Olaf and the accessories were made out of eidable magic dough by wilton.
So this is the Olaf in the summer time cake.
This is the proud birthday girl awaiting her gifts.
Receiving her puppy from Grandma and Grandpa.
She received Christoff, the noisy and moving puppy, talking olaf, and an Anna Costume.
Olaf does not stop talking which is a problem because his wonder doesn't either.
Getting ready to blow out her candles and little sis watching on.
My big girls is getting bigger but she is still little.
We have a few years to go before the tween years start.
I think 7 is going to the best of any of them!

Back to School!
Off to First Grade and excited because she has the same bus driver.
I did meet her at school to see their opening activities.
She was super sweet and ran to me, gave me a hug and then gave her Kindergarten teacher a hug who was standing next to me. I was somewhat excited that she hugged me first.
Then there was this peanut.
I had to drop her off today.
Bad idea.
She freaked and I had to leave her crying.
But she will be fine, her best buddy had not arrived yet so that was part of it.
I have no idea why they did the above expressions, just happened.
I did ask Audrey to raise her eyebrows because typically we get the cutest little look from her.
Celia raising her eyebrows does not have the same effect and this time Audrey just looks stunned.
And so onward to a fabulous school year.
This will be our last year taking pictures on this stoop, the last year with that tree in the background.
The last year we wait at that bus stop.
In 6 weeks or so we will move from our townhouse to our grownup house.
The inside is even better then the outside!
So next year, school photos will be taken on those front steps.
Or in our driveway.

Our Last Beach Day
Taking a walk down the beach path to say goodbye to the beach.
She has fluffy and small meow meow in her hand
See how pretty the beach was on our last day?
Nice and calm however it was really gross out, hot and humid.
So sad to be leaving the beach
Our view from the walkway
We traveled home through the Chesapeake bay bridge
We got out and let the girls walk around and shared some of the history with Celia
Then we got home and that Sunday Pete joined our church!
We were very proud of him.
