Happenings

So we have done a lot in the past month.

We had our first big snow storm, about 10 inches.  That week school was closed on Monday due to icing and then everyone went about normal business Tuesday until the late afternoon.  In the late afternoon came the freezing rain that brought a 2+ hr commute home for Pete.  So everyone had a 2 hr delay on Wednesday.  Then.. 10 inches that Thursday and the snow did not end until the evening and was brought by a deep freeze.  So school was also closed Friday.

  

Celia went back to school for four days and then had Spring break this week!  We started off her spring break with a trip to the zoo with friends.  I have never taken the girls to the Philadelphia Zoo and they had a great time.

I drove Celia to Grandma and Grandpa's house this past Monday and left her there from Tuesday (Audrey and I spent the night Mon) until Thursday.   Celia had a wonderful time.  Lots of memories made with her time spent away from home.  She got to see Paddington and went to the Science factory.  There was a tea party for grandpa thrown in there too.

Celia arrived home just in time for Spring or rather snow…..  We were supposed to get around 1 to 3 inches, leaning more along the lines of 1 inch.  I think we got at least 4 inches but it stuck mainly to the grass and not to the roads until later.  The girls had a blast playing in it.  Now I feel safe to say that the snow is done.  It is officially Spring and it will be 60 by the end of the week!
