First Swim Meet of the Season

Celia got first in her heat for freestyle and third in her heat for backstroke.  She turned on the speed for her relay.

 So this is the outfit she actually wore to school.

The previous week it was near 90 every day.

This week it seems to feel like late fall and rainy..

 Many mornings spent in the car chatting and waiting for her bus.

I usually leave for work straight from the bus stop so that is why we don't always walk!

Celia had her for Kindergarten and for baby hats club this year.

I wish I could post the video of her singing Circle of Friends with the whole school and doing her jump up to 2nd grade but I don't want to post pictures of her classmates without permission.  

It was amazing!

Audrey and Swimming

Audrey has made quite a lot of progress this year in swimming.  The kid loves to swim and she REALLY loves her swim instructor.  Audrey takes lessons in an endless pool and her teacher often turns on the motor because the pool is not big enough to for my super fish.  Here are some recent videos!









The below one might not look like very much but coordinating your stroke and breathing is pretty tricky.  She swam all the one to that corner and also did this for a count of 31 with the motor on.





She can also do the butterfly kick!  Now, if she will do this in the big pool is questionable but I do know that she is very water safe at this point.  I also know that this kid has the biggest grin on her face when she is in the water.

First day and Last day

We have done ALOT of growing.  

Shh… she did not ACTUALLY wear that outfit.

Growth has been big this year and the shirt really is too small.

Of course it is a size 5, note to self, don't put her in clothes that are already too small

for first day pictures.

It Was Uniform Day!!!

I live for uniform days.  Public school doesn't do that, I am bummed.  Folks, she even wore panty hose this time around.  Courtesy of my friend that handed some down to us.
